Sea-Dweller

The Rolex Sea-Dweller was built for the deepest professional diving operations on earth. Originally developed in the 1960s in partnership with COMEX — the French company conducting deep-sea saturation dives — the Sea-Dweller introduced a helium escape valve that allowed the watch to safely decompress alongside its wearer during extended underwater operations.

Today the Sea-Dweller and its sibling the Deepsea exist as technical monuments to Rolex's engineering commitment, rated to 1,220 meters and 3,900 meters respectively.
